I only post reviews when my experience was extremely good or extremely bad. I have also only posted three reviews in my life, this one included, and they were all during the process of bridal gown shopping. My experience at other stores was abhorrent. I went to a dozen different bridal shops looking for a dress and each place left me more defeated. I was a number on a screen and they only cared about making a sale. I was shown gowns WAY outside of my price range even with an established budget. Many locations forgot that I was even coming and had to rustle up a staff member to assist me. I was encouraged to buy a gown much too small for me because "you'll be dieting anyway". I felt pressured to make a decision and buy that day at every single place I went to. I could go on and on about how terrible my experience was at all of the many, MANY bridal stores I made appointments at but that isn't the purpose of this review. My experience with Heather at Bridal Parlour was the complete opposite of those other locations. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase a gown. She remembered intimate details from every interaction that we had. She only showed me gowns within my price range. At times it felt like she was reading my mind when I would comment on things I liked or disliked about gowns. She would rush to go find me something that fit that description. Don't even get me started on her extensive inventory, both in gown selection and sizing. My only regret is that I didn't start with her. I wasted so much time and SO MANY tears. I should have known better, two of my close friends purchased a gown from Bridal Parlour and had the same glowing review of Heather and her inventory. If you are a bride and you are shopping for a bridal gown, do yourself a favor and start at the Bridal Parlour. I promise you will have the same wonderful experience that I had.

Heather single handedly made my wedding dress shopping experience so much more magical than I ever thought it would be. She went out of her way to get my dream dress shipped to the store to try on, she was quick to respond to every request with an exquisite vision, and instantly made me and my party feel so comfortable and at home in her store. Comparing Bridal Parlour to the other 2 shops I visited- it's not even close! Heather will make you feel so beautiful and confident and her selection is unmatched. She's upfront and honest while being so incredibly kind- it's as if she was one step ahead of me at every turn. 12/10 cannot recommend her / Bridal Parlour enough if you or a friend is in the market for a dress!!

My experience at Bridal Parlour was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I walked in I immediately felt at ease and welcomed! Heather was an absolute dream to work with! I had went to Mimi’s (a top-rated shop in STL) as my first try-on experience and left feeling very discouraged about not finding a dress that I even liked. I researched the designer Made with Love and found Heather/the Bridal Parlour. It is the only shop within 250 miles that carries this designer, and I am so thankful the designer brought me to her!! I reviewed the look book prior to the appointment and favorited 14 dresses that Heather already had pulled when I arrived! I ended up trying nearly 20 dresses on as Heather listened to feedback on each dress and would pull other ones she wanted me to try. I honestly loved at least half of them and had a tough time picking between the final 3 that I loved so much! Heather is personable, fun, and extremely knowledgeable about the dresses and designers she carries. The experience was completely different getting to work with her who has 15 years of experience in the bridal dress industry than other shops. Thank you Heather for helping me find the most perfect dress!!

I cannot begin to put into words my wonderful experience with Heather at Bridal Parlour. When I arrived, she had all the dresses pulled from the portal in which I had favorited. She was able to narrow down my top dresses, (without me feeling pressured) in which made my decision simple. She only takes one client at a time so the experience feels so intimate and personalized. Another aspect I loved is that Heather would step aside and let us chat/discuss about the dress. Overall, I never felt pressured... I had an unforgetable experience at Bridal Parlour. This was my first day shopping for wedding dresses and I did not think I would get up buying. Heather was amazing and made the process so fun and gave no pressure at all. We loved having the place to ourseleves to look around but didnt even need to as she had all the dresses I picked out and more already in the dressing room. Heather was AMAZING! No matter what kind of style you are, there is a dress for you. I wanted something very simple/modern, and there were so many good choices at great price points. I was stuck between two dresses at my first appointment, so I made a second appointment a few weeks later and she had remembered my selections and all of the details I had told her at my last appointment.
