Whilst I felt a little overwhelmed upon arriving and seeing the large selection of outfits, I felt relaxed and free to browse through the dresses with my daughter. It was great to receive some gentle advice as we started to spot some potential dresses. Carla was great, sharing ideas and potential dress choices. The dressing area is beautiful and you feel very special as you try on dresses and see yourself in the large beautiful mirrors. I did say yes to the dress and the hat ! It was such fun celebrating with the ring of the bell and a sip of bubbly?? I cannot wait for my daughter’s wedding day, gliding around in my beautiful dress. I really didn’t know what to expect when I booked my appointment and was quite apprehensive. My daughter (the bride) came with me as we planned to make a weekend of it in Birmingham. Well I needn’t have worries - we were made so welcome, with totally personal service and such a huge range of dresses - enough to suit anyone! I was able to try on many dresses- totally spoilt for choice but with everyone’s help was able to “say yes to the dress” thoroughly recommend! Thank you xx

What a lovely experience. I was feeling quite apprehensive about finding an outfit for my daughter’s wedding. The range available is amazing. I picked out many options as I hadn’t a clue what I wanted. The staff were wonderful. So patient and the product knowledge was excellent. After 2 hours I finally found the one! Walked out of store with dress, hat, bag and shoes. Thank you for your patience

A great experience from the minute we walked through the door. So much choice. All staff lovely and helpful. Encouraged to try lots on and also offered suggestions. The Prosecco was a nice touch too. Came away with a beautiful dress and hat. There is also the option to choose shoes and bags that they can dye to match your dress. Will definitely be arranging this on our next visit for alterations.

2 years after being Mother of the Groom to my eldest son, I get to repeat the honour for my youngest. I had my first MOG outfit from Mother of the Bride, received beautiful comments from family and wedding guests. So this was first place to visit this time. The experience for shopping for my mother of the bride outfit was a mix of excitement and nervousness. The volume of dresses, hats snd shoes are extensive. The shop is well laid out, the staff were very welcoming & helpful. My mum & I (The Bride) picked out around 20 dresses to try on & the 2 woman also helped us. Such a wonderful experience. From the moment my husband and I walked into the showroom we were greeted and put at ease. Having two outfits to shop for, was quite daunting, but we were put at our ease straight away as everything was explained and made as easy as possible. Both of the assistants made helpful suggestions and gave such wonderful advice. I ended up purchasing two complete outfits, dresses, shoes, bags and hats. Having everything under one roof with such lovely, experienced ladies made it such a lovely morning from what could have been such a stressful time. I would definitely return for any other occasion wear.

Wow what a fabulous experience from the minute I walked in the door the professional staff made me feel at ease. My son and future daughter in law came with me and we found plenty of choices, one style I had been looking at from their instagram page and we tried on all different colours with matching hats. Nothing was too much trouble and I ended up buying the first dress I tired on but was given choices now of different hats and shoes and bags! So worth coming all the way from Singapore and to find my perfect outfit. I would highly recommend this superb friendly boutique to any future mothers of brides or grooms.

Buying an outfit for my Son’s wedding in May 2024. My sister knows how I hate shopping and was worried I’d turn up to the wedding in my usual jeans and T-shirt. All of the ladies in the shop gave such good advice, couldn’t have been more helpful, attentive, supportive. At no point did I feel any pressure to settle for anything. Tried on lots of dresses and walked out with a dress, jacket and hat, in fact the first one I’d see as I walked in. I didn’t want to take the dress I’ve bought off and can’t wait to wear it at the wedding! Thank you so much for giving me so much confidence!

What an amazing and magical experience! When entering on Saturday, 29th July I was very nervous however my anxiety and apprehensions were quickly removed by the lovely ladies in the shop who made me feel at ease. They were extremely supportive, helpful and very encouraging! I was treated beautifully, and encouraged to try on many dresses until i found the 'one' I haven't stopped talking about my awesome experience and showing my stunning dress off. A truly magical experience was had with my daughters, one being the bride to be. From the moment we arrived we felt looked after, going above and beyond assisting me to make a decision of a lifetime, cannot thank you ladies enough. First time I have been to a place offering advice, the staff were very helpful but without being imposing ….showed me styles I wouldn’t have picked. I felt very relaxed and not under pressure. Would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it!

My second visit to this wonderful salon. This time as Mother of the Groom. I was warmly greeted by Juliette and under no pressure, allowed to choose as many dresses as I liked to try on .Such a lovely lady. I was assisted into each dress and even given a glass of Bucks Fizz to help calm the nerves . Hats to match and try on and finally at my pace I said “yes to the dress .” You get to ring a bell and have a photo to mark the occasion! It was a long journey but believe me they are worth visiting. So friendly and honest opinions given, not just a sales pitch, they really want you to feel amazing for the special day . Excellent customer service , Tracy the manager amazing too. Thank you to the whole team at Mother of the Bride. Even got to meet their beautiful model in their posts. Highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed.

With only 12 days before my daughter’s wedding day to go, I arrived at the mother of the bride shop for my appointment. Having previously bought a full outfit months ago that I was no longer comfortable in. Phillipa greeted myself and my daughter with a smile and such a calm and friendly manner amidst my concerns of finding a new outfit. Nothing was too much trouble, she worked tirelessly throughout the appointment and I left purchasing a new dress which I absolutely love and most importantly feel so comfortable in. My daughter was in tears at my happiness when we found “the one” The ladies even arranged alterations to be completed quickly along with an appointment with the dressmaker to check the fit before collection. I can’t recommend this shop enough for everything from cleanliness, customer service, the layout of the dresses and accessories, room to look around without pressure and fabulous changing rooms. A five star review totally deserved. Thank you so very much ladies.

Thank you so much for your advice and guidance. All the staff were so friendly and helped me chose my dress. I took my husband with me for support and he was made to feel welcome too. I cannot thank you all enough for your support and patience I was anxious beforehand that I would never find a dress but with your advice I did. My daughter, the bride loves the dress and I am now looking forward to the big day. A visit to this shop is must if you need that special dress and of course accessories to match.
