You made me feel comfortable and I loved the opportunity to actually have a chance to browse around first before trying dresses on, I loved that you took every opportunity to take photos and videos of all the dresses I tried on, and I also loved that you popped in a few curveball dresses to really make me think about what I liked and didn’t like, I had such a wonderful experience today thank you so much!

I don't know how good this feedback is but I am so happy with my appointment. From Shailo's attentive service, to trying on the gowns. Even when the gowns weren't quite fitting Shailo adjusted it without being asked with a pin or a clip. Beautiful range too.

I had the most incredible experience while visiting Wilkins Bridal. Being a bigger bust bride I was worried I would struggle to find a dress that suited. April was incredible and really knew her stuff. I tried on many dresses and came away loving 2 beautiful dresses. The service April provided was 10/10. She was bubbly, fun and had had so much knowledge on the gowns. I can’t wait to come back for future fittings.

I had such a great experience at Wilkins. They had a wide range of styles and dresses which was super helpful when narrowing down what I liked or didn't like. Shailo was really welcoming and useful but not overpowering and I had a beautiful morning trying on dresses.

Overall a wonderful experience for me! The staff that helped me was so understanding and attentive. She was extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable straight away, especially when I started to get overwhelmed with all the choices and didn't know where to start. The place had a warm and cozy atmosphere, which put my friend and I at ease. Not only was the attentiveness good, but the care she puts into making sure I had the best options based on my preferences were commendable. Bonus points for the fluffy dogs present! I would highly recommend Wilkins Bridal to anyone considering a wedding dress!

Had a great experience Shailo was very helpful and understood what I was looking for and by remembering what details I liked about specific dresses she was able to put it all together and find a dress that I liked. Shailo also did a great job of clipping and pinning the dresses I tried on to make them look like they fitted perfectly so I got a much better idea of how they would fit. Overall we liked being able to look through and pick out dresses for me to try on which we were not able to do at the other boutique we went to previously. There was a wide range of dresses available but not so many that it was overwhelming. Had a lovely time and the service was great.

Out of all the wedding dress places I visited when shopping for my dress, Wilkins was my favourite experience! April is incredible at what she does and somehow knows exactly what you need in the moment. They have a huge range of styles and sizes. I'm a plus size bride and I loved being able to actually try on the dresses because they carry more than just a size 12. 100000/10 recommend!

So helpful, accomodating, and lovely. The process was well explained, and all questions answered. Shailo was so patient and kind, and catered to all of my (and my entourages) wishes and whims!!

Wilkins Bridal was the 3rd dress shop in Christchurch I went to and was by far the most helpful! Shailo was so patient, it was the only place I didn’t feel rushed and nothing was a bother.

We are so grateful we went and saw April! The range of dresses was beautiful, well made and reasonably priced. April was an expert in body types, her stock, and pulled great dresses. She made it a positive, fun, and efficient experience. To be honest we went to another bridal shop after and it was a disaster - so we were extra grateful for the experience at Wilkins.

I was really nervous and unsure what I was going to look like in a bridal dresses before getting to the store as I never show my arms or upper body much but as soon as April started working her magic I felt so at ease as she knew what looked good and what wouldn’t. I found a dress I love (although I loved nearly all of them) which surprisingly showed my shoulders and nearly all of my arms, and it’s perfect. Out of all the bridal dress shops I went to, Wilkins Bridal is by far the best! Great variety, affordable and high-quality dresses, and all-round incredible service. April and her team are fabulous - they even picked out for me the dress that I said "yes" to. Would highly recommend!

I first came to Wilkins several months ago, at the recommendation of a friend. (She bought her dress many many years ago). I went with my best mate, for a double appointment. I wasn't sure about what styles of dress would work for me, so April did the most FANTASTIC job of putting me in loads of different styles to figure out what I liked and didn't like. Meanwhile, my best mate found her dress and I got to witness her "Say Yes to the Dress". Unbeknownst to me I also found my dress, but I played it safe, and walked away ready to keep looking while I continued planning what our wedding would look like. Several months later, after visiting other bridal stores (and having some horrific experiences) and trying on more gowns, I knew I needed to go back to Wilkins and get the dress I loved on that first day. Having been to other boutiques and trying on other gowns, I just wanted to say that absolutely no where else beats Wilkins. I will not be recommending ANY OTHER location to anyone else I know. Yes they have a fabulous selection of gowns, but the absolute joy, honesty, and professionalism from the consultants (especially April), is unparalleled. April has so much experience and I genuinely loved her candidness when it came to certain dresses. She knew my dress was "the one" before I did. Thank you, for everything, I have one of the big things ticked off now!
