Had a great experience today at Alta! All of the staff were so welcoming and friendly, I felt really comfortable and tried on some beautiful dresses. Now I just need to decide which one I want to say yes to. Thank you for a lovely first wedding dress experience

Fantastic experience! As a nearing 40 bride I was a little nervous about what dresses would work. Jade was incredible, she was patient, personal and ended up picking me the most beautiful dress. I was a lovely experience, we didn't feel rushed, I comfortable and Jade was clearly experienced and knows what dresses suit people!

Wow what can I say the staff are amazing there they made the whole experience amazing I came out buzzing from the shop after saying yes to the dress with my little gift. What they gave me. I cannot say thank you enough for making my experience. The best I’ve ever felt amazing in my dress, thank you.

When I got to my appointment I was warmly greeted by all of the staff. They explained how the appointment would go and very quickly put me at ease. I was able to freely look at all of the dresses and they helped me pick out what they thought would not only suit me but what was in my price range and what could be ordered and altered in time for the wedding. They gave their honest opinion of how each dress looked on my body type and how things could be altered if I needed it to be. By the end of the appointment I came away with my dream dress, I felt looked after, listened to and looking forward to wearing my amazing dress on the big day. Thank you to all the staff at Alta.

We had the best experience here. This was the first bridal shop I visited on the journey to find my wedding dress and I really do not want to go anywhere else after this. Jessica was fabulous, everyone I brung with me also said the same. She really listened to what I wanted and was able to help pull dresses that was exactly my vibe. We never felt rushed or anything we really took our time and found a dress I absolutely love. Jessica said at the beginning she had a good feeling that she would help me find a dress and she was right. The whole experience was just amazing and I felt so comfortable and loved every second of my visit!

I cannot rate Jade enough . I am an older bride (second time round ) and I felt completely overwhelmed and terrified I was going to look like mutton dressed as lamb. Jade completely put me at ease , listened to my fears and my preferences and really helped me . The appointment was not rushed in anyway. I was so nervous to come and try dresses on, but Jessica made me feel so welcome and at ease, Jessica was so helpful showing me round the shop at all the different dresses and helped me pick some I liked and one out of my comfort zone to try for different styles. I came in and really didn’t know what to expect as I have never been dress shopping. Me and my mum were greeted with such a warm welcome. We were a little early but that wasn’t a problem, we sat and waited and I had a little look at some dresses. I was then met by the lovely Jessica who was going to take my appointment. We went through what I wanted in a dress, I had a variety of ideas and she worked so hard in picking out lots of beautiful dresses. I felt so comfortable getting undressed and into the gowns infront of her. I felt bad when I didn’t like some of them on me but she explained I’ll know the one for me. I had the best time. Jessica made me feel like a glowing bride in every aspect. She also included my mum who came with me. I said yes to a dress and we left very happy.

I Attended today for my first fitting today with Daphne. Her calming influence was great when I was so emotional about having my dress on again! It was so nice to see Jade who helped me choose my dress as well. Alta Costura came highly recommended to me and I’d highly recommend it to any other bride looking for the perfect dress. The team are all so lovely and the dress selection is amazing

Jo was amazingly helpful caring and attentive. She listened to what I felt confident in and gave me good advice on styles that would suit and not be suitable for my shape and size. We found the most amazing dress because of her help. Can't wait to come back in April x

From walking into the shop to leaving having purchased ‘the dress’ Jessica was my bridal consultant and she made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She has so much knowledge and listened to everything I said. Jessica went and got dresses for me to try on and I ended up buying my dream dress from what she picked. I had a great time at my appointment today. Joanne was lovely and super helpful. She helped me find a selection of dresses and then was patient and accommodating as I went between my top 3 until I settled on the one. An all round great experience, thank you.

Had my first experience of wedding dress shopping today and to my surprise, said yes to the dress! I am generally very indecisive in nature and it can take me forever to make even the simplest of decisions. Having Jade’s help and support must have helped, as she was great! At the beginning of the appointment I shared with her a variety of dresses I had seen online and liked. Jade then picked out of a few from this selection as well as some of her own suggestions, whilst my family picked out some suggestions they wanted me to try on. Even after such a short interaction Jade seemed to know my likes and dislikes better than I did myself and brought out some beautiful dresses and styles for me to try on whilst whistling down the styles that were a no, maybe and finally the one. I felt really comfortable with Jade as she helped me get in and out of dresses and found this also provided time for quieter moments to gather my own thoughts on the dressed as I had 5 family member join me all of which were giving their own feedback. Jade and another member of staff (sorry I missed their name!) were also really helpful in arranging for me to take an off cut piece of my dress away with me to consider when making choices on other parts of the wedding styling. All in all I had a great experience and really am shocked that with Jade’s help I managed to find my dress first time round! Thank you!! Xox

Absolutely amazing people. Today was my first time wedding dress shopping and I was not disappointed!! I had high hopes as my sister brought her dress from ACB 10years ago!! I was made to feel at home, comfortable and confident which was so important being a plus size. All dresses are a great price, whatever your budget I'm sure you will be able to find the dress that you've dreamed of (or not and find one better). Highly, highly recommend. I would recommend ACB to any bride to be.

Absolutely amazing! My first appointment to shop for wedding dresses and I have left it much later than I should. Everyone in store was super friendly & welcoming. I am so sorry I think her name was Jess was fantastic! Extremely patient as I didn’t have a clue, gave some great recommendations and allowed me to take my time too. The team here are really amazing. I would just like to say a massive thankyou to jade and the staff at Alta Costura. They were truly amazing. Jade was so kind, patient and caring, and made you feel like a friend not a customer. Being a plus size bride, I was very nervous and hesitant about trying on dresses. Only being to one other shop and not having the best experience made this even worse, but jade and the team made me feel like I was beautiful and deserve to feel that way. They were so precise even down to explaining the trying on and the changing from dress-to-dress process, making me feel at ease and comfortable in a normally uncomfortable situation. The initial quiz online helped give them a sense of me and my style as well as the theme for my wedding. When I came in jade sat down with me and wanted to know a bit more about me and my likes/dislikes, and the overall look of my wedding day. She and another colleague apparently knew when I walked in which dress they thought I would like from what they knew from me. It wasn’t something I would have naturally been drawn to, as it was very different to the dresses I thought I liked. However, it ended up being my perfect dress and I said YES! So, I would really recommend putting your trust and faith in them as they really know what they are doing. Cannot recommend them high enough.

Couldn't have asked for better customer service from the minute we arrived to leaving. No purchase pressure, lots of helpful advice without being pushy - would recommend to any Bride. Jess was so friendly and knowlegable about all dresses I tried on and how they could be adapted to fit my style or sizing. The shop is also a beautiful, comfortable surrounding to enjoy the experience in.

My experience at alta costura bride was wonderful! I was a bit nervous as this was my first time going dress shopping but I was made to feel so comfortable from the very beginning till end. I was served by Sarah, who was so lovely and helpful. I really appreciated how she let me pick what i liked, helped me dress them and style them and then chose some others for me to try based on what she had learnt that I liked. I enjoyed the whole experience, dresses were beautiful, shop is beautiful and customer service great!

I had the best time with the wonderful staff at Alta Costura bridal. I came in feeling abit nervous, worried about how my body would look in a dress and worried I wouldn't find "the one" as I was so overwhelmed and wasn't sure what I wanted. The shop is absolutely stunning with beautiful romantic decor that really helps you get into the wedding mood. Jade was so helpful and looked after me, the people with me and even brought out a box of toys for the little ones I brought along! Jade was the one who chosen my dress, I felt absolutely incredible in the dress, despite it being corset backed it was so comfortable, the dress quality was absolutely impeccable and it honestly looks like it was made for me! She helped me pick out a wonderful veil and I felt a million dollars. Due to being able to have a payment plan I could get the dress of my dreams. The seamstress was wonderful too! Helping me picking out my tiara and along with the rest of the team helped me feel really relaxed and beautiful the whole time I was in, even if most of the time I had little ones with me.
