Niki was an absolute star. I never once felt self-conscious or insecure during the whole appointment. She made me feel completely at ease from the get go and welcomed me and my entourage with such warmth. I went in thinking I wanted a specific style and left with my mind changed (in a good way!). Every single dress I tried on fit or was pinned to show an accurate idea of how it would look in my size. It was a completely different experience to other shops. Its almost a week since my visit and I am still on a high after it. I was honestly dreading dress shopping and really anxious but the second I walked in the door, Sarah put me at ease. I felt so comfortable and found my dream dress which was so different to what I could have imagined. I could have stayed all day there! I was very stressed about picking my wedding dress. Niki was just so welcoming and knew exactly what she was doing. She turned the experience from stressful, into such fun and excitement. From the get go Sarah was absolutely fantastic. We’re talking before I even booked an appointment. I reached out on the Instagram page and asked about whether there would be many dresses in a size that I would be able to fit in to visualise myself in a dress. I expressed how nervous I was being a plus size person as to whether I would even find a dress that would fit me. Sarah was so kind and gentle in her replies and so reassuring. This was the same as soon as I stepped foot in store. Sarah greeted us at the door and brought us up and eased me into it. In the dressing room Sarah again was so gentle and eased me in she withdrew all nerves I had at the end i just felt like I was having a conversation with a friend. Never once from the moment Sarah put me in the first dress did I feel plus size. I just felt like a woman who was trying on a dress. This is a very specialised thing, lots of brands and shops consider themselves plus size inclusive and in that dressing room who still feel defeated and leave critiquing yourself and questioning and blaming your body. I guess what I am trying to feedback is I didn’t feel like I was a curvy bride I felt like I was a bride and this and left me feeling amazing and exciting for my journey as a bride. It is worth saying that I didn’t 100% find my dress but I have left with 2 options and an idea and there is queries to be made with the designer. The reason I add this is because I had all this experience without even leaving with my wedding dress. It was just amazing and I am so grateful to have made the trip.

I have never had such a helpful and calming experience buying a dress in my life !! I had the absolute best time when I went for my first ever bridal dress shopping experience in Dreamy Curves. I dreaded the thoughts of shopping for a bridal dress as a bigger girl but from the moment I booked the appointment all my fears and worries vanished because of the amazing staff. I couldn’t believe the huge variety of dresses that were on display that I could try on and actually fit into! After trying a few dresses, my bridal consultant, Sarah, picked out a dress she thought I would like based on our conversation and boy did she get it right! It’s like she was inside my head! I never imagined I’d ever have that “bridal feeling”, but did I ever, and little did I think after my first ever bridal dress appointment that I would be leaving with my dream dress.
